Location Norfolk, VA - Norfolk, VA 23501 US (Primary) Remote (Virtual) - US - US Category Information Technology Job Description Our team has a need for a Senior Cloud Administrator to lead the buildout and testing of a hybrid cloud environment utilizing the Navy Flank Speed Environment. Primary responsibilities include: * Advice on best practices for the implementation of Cloud components, tools, dashboards, and automation * Deploy and manage Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other Azure resources * Configure and monitor Azure security features such as firewalls, network security groups, and Azure Active Directory * Act as the SME for Azure services configuration * Work with development teams to ensure proper application deployment and scaling in Azure * Assist other SMEs in the preparation of Installation guides for an enterprise environment * Provide input into the migration project schedule Job Requirements * Ability to manage Azure subscriptions and resources, implement and manage storage, deploy, and manage virtual machines, PaaS services, configure and manage virtual networks, and manage identities * IT experience (8 years) including at least five (5) projects in technical areas included in the job description * Experience in creating technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and how-to guides * Experience working in a Hybrid Cloud environment preferred * Experience with Navy Flank Speed Environment preferred * Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M * Must have or be able to get within 2 weeks of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M * Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or significant experience in lieu of, with the ability to obtain within first 2 weeks of employment Security Clearance Secret Job Type Full-time StratasCorp provides a complete compensation package with competitive wages and benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA & HSA accounts, disability and other income protection benefits, life insurance, paid personal time-off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401K Saving Plan with a company matching contribution.
