Position Overview

Rockline is seeking a visionary and strategic Vice President of Information Services to lead our global IS function. This executive role is responsible for shaping and executing the technology strategy that drives innovation, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across all regions and business units. You will oversee digital infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, data governance, business intelligence, and emerging technologies-including Artificial Intelligence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of Rockline's senior management team, participating in strategic and operational governance.
  • Lead IS strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals, foster innovation, and prioritize IT initiatives.
  • Build and maintain an IS organizational structure that supports business needs; recruit, develop, and retain top ITS talent.
  • Develop, track, and control the IS annual operating, capital, and expense budgets.
  • Ensure continuous delivery and optimization of IS services and systems performance.
  • Direct disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure service quality.
  • Advise leadership on industry trends, legal and regulatory issues, and the competitive impact of technology.
  • Promote strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in information systems or IT management.
  • Proven expertise in strategic planning, project management, and business acumen.
  • Experience with AI solution selection and implementation.
  • Strong supervision, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of business systems and technical infrastructure.
  • Experience with budgeting and cost management for IT hardware, software, and services.
  • Familiarity with Rockline's major systems (JD Edwards ERP, Logility Voyager SCO, DSI DcLink, UKG, Microsoft 365/Azure, Hexegon EAM, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Aveva MES, Inovis EDI).
  • Strong contract/vendor negotiation skills.
  • Up to 25% travel required.
