PRN Software Engineer - Open Source with SLU

Open source with SLU is looking for a software engineer to help build and manage ongoing open-source software projects. This is an hourly position, with up to 20 hours per week. Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and test open-source software * Document software development practices used at Open Source with SLU * Automate processes * Elicit requirements from clients * Build open-source community Requirements * Degree in computer science (Master's degree is preferred) * Experience with modern programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript * Experience with testing and test automation * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Function Unclassified PositionsScheduled Weekly Hours: 20Saint Louis University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
