About The Position The instructional designer will be furthering our company's commitment to career development and learning by designing and creating learning solutions with a focus on technology in a variety of modalities, be it in the classroom, through our Learning Management System, webinars, videos and other mediums. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Working knowledge of adult learning and instructional design principles, including e-learning, required. Must have excellent written and oral communications - demonstrated ability to produce clearly written learning materials and articulate key concepts in a clear, succinct manner interpersonal relationships, proactive problem solving, decision making, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.Ability to work with tight deadlines required.Self-starter, able to effectively prioritize activities with little direction Must be proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience using graphics software or web-based training programs (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia Lectora, Illustrator, etc.) preferred. Utility experience preferred. Strong graphic design and video filming/editing experience preferred. Additional InformationAmeren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $82,400.00 - $127,700.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
