Financial Analyst II

The Financial Analyst II will assist in financial reporting and analysis. Provides daily support for assigned systems, products, or business units. Identifies potential improvements to current procedures, plans, and controls to achieve financial objectives. Generates pricing, profitability reports, or other documentation as needed.

• Assist in the creation of operating expense forecasts and annual operating plan, including the staffing plan for a 600 FTE business unit
• Preparation and analytic review and operating expense and headcount trends
• Preparation of activity-based costing analysis
• Calculation of incentive compensation payouts in support of existing compensation plans. Test and make recommendations of any proposed changes to the incentive plans
• Strategic cost management, including tracking of cost saves and identification of potential cost saves

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Finance or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in Finance or Analytics

Preferred Skills:

• Some general accounting experience preferred
• Experience with data analytics and data analytic tools including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL, Power Query, Oracle Hyperion, SmartView. The applicant must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with general ledger/accounting systems (PeopleSoft preferred)
• Experience with CRM systems (Sales Force preferred)
• Experience with Infolease
