Senior Engineer - Geologist Hydrogeologist

As a senior member of the team, this role is heavily involved in client relationships, project management, and related consulting efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Interact with clients and regulators to communicate findings and develop site strategies
Develop and manage project scope, schedule, and budget
Coordinate and execute field activities/data collection per SOPs and QAPPs
Interpret project-specific data and site geology/hydrogeology to develop conceptual site models
Develop appropriate remedial strategies
Use advanced technical writing skills to produce clear, concise, and accurate audience-focused reports and communications
Lead and mentor junior staff in project management, communication, and technical topics
Manage multiple projects of varying complexity concurrently
Assist in the development of new policies and procedures
Participate in marketing efforts, including proposal development (writing, scope, and fee negotiation), interview participation, and presentations
Prepare and submit invoices in a timely manner
Participate in external professional organizations
Required Skills and Experience
10+ years of relevant experience
Degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related field
P.E. and/or P.G. designation strongly preferred
6+ years of project management experience completing Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, site investigations, and remedial action planning and implementation
Experience using Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office; working knowledge of CAD/GIS is a plus
Effective oral and written communication
Efficient time utilization with strong attention to detail
Understanding of CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, and Wisconsin regulations (including ch NR 500 and 700 series) helpful
Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges
Strong interpersonal communication skills with clients and regulatory agencies
A desire to mentor and coach developing engineers and staff
