Responsibilities

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Manager, Product - Flow Cytometry Reagents. The Product Manager position is accountable for managing and marketing the Sysmex Flow Cytometry Reagent Product portfolio for Clinical and/or Research flow cytometry systems. The position is responsible for creating "best of breed" marketing and sales programs, responsible for all aspects of life cycle management, promotional material, competitive material and developing thought leaders and marketplace influencers to assist Sysmex in achieving their business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Internal and external champion for the Sysmex Flow Cytometry Reagent Product Portfolio, including IVD product lines; developing, designing and presenting technical materials, advertising copy, white papers, sales tools and training material

2. Develops "anti-competitive" materials and updates for commercial operations

3. Develops sales strategies for product lines to achieve business plan goals

4. Participates in feedback and input to R&D in Germany and Japan on current and future customer needs as market research and analysis dictates. Participates on global Sysmex IVD product teams to review and develop existing and new flow cytometry products as required

5. Supports new product launch teams working across departments to introduce new Sysmex Clinical Flow Cytometry products to the marketplace

6. Participates in scientific symposiums on a national and regional level by developing strategic Sysmex speakers. Supports and develops key physicians and technologists for participation in marketing studies and as speakers for the flow cytometry product line

7. Responsible for providing all Sysmex product expertise to the Application Support Managers and Specialists in order to insure ongoing support of Applications Specialists in the field

8. Supports continued development of niche markets for Sysmex flow cytometry product lines

9. Other duties as required.



Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science/Biological Science or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably life sciences and/or diagnostics.
  • Core understanding of IVD Flow Cytometry Market. Proven IVD marketing and/or sales experience.
  • Demonstrate effective influence and leadership skills.
  • Excellent presentation and written skills (English), especially in documentation and process mapping.
  • High decision making ability.
  • High project management ability.
  • High problem-solving ability.

The salary range for this role is $84,000 - $138,600. Withn this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
