Sr Software Engineer II

Summary

Dignitas is seeking a motivated Sr. Software Engineer.

Essential Functions

The Sr. Software Engineer will work closely with Subject Matter Experts, System Engineers and the rest of the Dignitas team to identify and prioritize software development tasks. They will also have the ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications.

Required Skills

The Software Engineer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Working knowledge of high-order programming languages and Web-based programming
* Experience in debugging software
* Experience in verification testing of software
* Technical writing skills: capable of creating required engineering documentation
* Experience in C, C++, Python, Java and JavaScript
* Experience with VS Code, JIRA and GitLab
* Experience with Linux Environments (Ubuntu/RedHat)
* Experience with agile software development practices

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Travel

There is no travel required for this position.

Work Location

This position is not a remote position, office location is on-site.

Required Education and Experience

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field

15+ years of applicable experience

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen

Secret Clearance Required
