Manage critical activities across a diverse set of projects. These critical activities include, but are not limited to, compiling technical, financial, and other project data using various database programs; tracking project deliverables; and coordinating project-related activities between the Supervisor, customers, and the business leadership to ensure performance standards and customer requirements are met.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Team Lead Referral Management (Clear & Legible Reporting): $50k- $55k

Pay commensurate with experience.

Team Lead Referral Management (Clear & Legible Reporting) Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct scheduled and/or unscheduled inspections focusing on one of the Service Summary elements to ensure all performance areas are evaluated regularly.

  • Process all CLRs into the patient's permanent EHR within three working days of receipt, close the referral, and notify the referring provider and/or Primary Care Manager (PCM) that the CLR is awaiting their review

  • Foster a positive work environment

  • Responsible for training new hires on the CLR process

  • Responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining data in a QA system

  • Ensure 100% referrals are closed at 180 days, with Genesis message sent to the provider informing them of the patient's referral status

  • Track all Televox, Urgent, On hold, and Priority referrals

  • Monitors employee behavior and performance, provides feedback, conducts reviews, and recommends disciplinary actions to the project Supervisor

  • Treat all encounters professionally

  • Adhere to all rules and regulations including but not limited to HIPAA

  • Provide overall project support to the Supervisor as needed

  • Fields employee questions regarding clients, contracts, and work direction.

  • Maintains consistent records and reporting as required by the contract.

  • Ensures timely communications and use of established processes with internal support departments.

  • Cultivates a relationship with the client in order to create a strategic partner relationship.

  • Performs general administrative tasks, including assisting with document management, correspondence, and contact databases.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Team Lead Referral Management (Clear & Legible Reporting) Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • High School Diploma or GED and 1+ Years of experience in a customer service-related industry.

  • Requires experience supporting interface with government program authorities and representatives on technical and project issues, supervising project operations by developing procedures, planning, and directing execution of the technical support effort, and monitoring and reporting progress.

  • General medical ethics, telephone etiquette, written/verbal & electronic communication.
  • Operational computer skills with general working knowledge of word processing, and Microsoft applications (including Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Possess or complete Privacy Act and HIPAA, Data-Safeguarding, Anti-Terrorism, Interacting with Government Employees, MHS GENESIS appointment booking, and policy training in a trainer-to-trainer format.
  • Possess or complete TRICARE online training and have a solid understanding of the TRICARE online appointment and referral process.
  • Possess or complete MHS GENESIS Revenue Cycle and scheduling training.
  • Possess or complete training on the MHS GENESIS referral management function and the MHS GENESIS appointment function
  • Possess or complete training on the secure messaging platform and be capable of managing inbox volume.
  • Able to define problems and obtain solutions.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of project management, creating, and implementing project schedules, managing project teams and budgets, as well as a strong technical background preferable.
  • Knowledge of administrative regulations and operating procedures.
  • Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, and seeing up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus; occasional walking or standing.
  • Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
