Your role

As an Inventory Specialist, you play a vital role in ensuring that the right materials are in the right place at the right time. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for process improvement, this role drives inventory accuracy, supports seamless production, and empowers our teams through data driven planning and collaboration. By maintaining system integrity and forecasting needs with precision, the Inventory Specialist plays a vital role in fueling our success and delivering excellence to our customers. You will report to the Order Center Supervisor.


You will:



  • Inventory Accuracy & Optimization: maintain inventory accuracy above 98% through cycle counts and continuous process improvement, analyze usage data to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels, and adjust reorder points and safety stock levels based on trend analysis.
  • ERP System Management: Resolve inventory discrepancies and train team members on best practices, perform consumption in the system at designated milestones, troubleshoot issues related to consumptions and manage components to monitor material for potential reuse, and scrap material in accordance with company procedure.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and procurement to align inventory planning with new product introductions, coordinate with project planners on stock allocations to production projects, and chair the scheduled inventory review meetings with internal stakeholders.
  • Procurement & Production Support: Release purchase requisitions and generate production orders for inventory and Kanban items.

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and one or more years of working with inventory modules, transaction processes in an ERP system, and leading cross-function initiatives.
  • You understand inventory control principles, Kanban systems, and cycle counting practices.
  • You have experience with Excel or data visualization tools.
  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory trends and usage data.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
