Role Purpose

Provide specialized planning and scheduling support to the client-led commissioning team by developing, maintaining, and integrating detailed commissioning fragment networks (fragnets) into the overall project schedule. This role ensures commissioning activities are accurately represented, properly sequenced, and aligned with system turnover milestones. The position is advisory only; all planning direction flows through the client.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain commissioning-specific fragnets for systemized work packages.

* Ensure commissioning activities are properly linked to construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up schedules.

* Support the client's commissioning planners with schedule integration, resource leveling, and milestone alignment.

* Provide progress measurement tools and update commissioning fragnets to reflect real-time status.

* Generate look-ahead schedules, highlight critical path items, and flag risks to commissioning readiness.

* Support development of commissioning metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards.

* Assist in schedule scenario modeling for SIMOPS, phased turnover, and early occupancy requirements.

* Ensure compliance with project planning standards, coding structures, and reporting requirements.

Authority / Limitations

Advisory and support role only. No direct authority over client staff, contractors, or execution decisions.

Key Interfaces

* Client: Commissioning Manager, Commissioning Planners, Area Leads.

* EPC: Discipline Engineers, Workface Planners, Document Controllers, Project Controls.

* Vendors/Subcontractors: Scheduling consultants and tool specialists (via client only).

* Ensure compliance with project planning standards, coding structures, and reporting requirements..

Qualifications & Experience

* 10+ years of planning/scheduling experience in oil & gas or LNG projects, with a focus on commissioning.

* Proficient in scheduling software (Primavera P6 required; knowledge of MS Project or similar tools a plus).

* Experience with systemization, commissioning work package development, and completions management systems (CoConsole, WinPCS, etc.).

* Strong understanding of commissioning execution strategies, SIMOPS, and turnover processes.

* Demonstrated ability to analyze schedules, identify risks, and propose mitigation plans.

Success Criteria

* Accurate and timely development of commissioning fragnets integrated into the master schedule.

* Early identification of schedule conflicts, SIMOPS risks, or milestone slippage.

* Clear and reliable reporting of commissioning progress and readiness.

* Alignment with client's commissioning plan, turnover strategy, and project controls standards.
