Summary:
The IT Assurance Intern will work closely with our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team to assist in assessing, testing, and evaluating the effectiveness of clients IT systems and controls. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in IT auditing, risk assessment, and compliance within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting IT risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and control weaknesses within clients systems.
  • Participate in evaluating IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to IT systems, processes, and controls.
  • Support the development and implementation of remediation plans to address identified risks and control deficiencies.
  • Document findings, observations, and recommendations in clear and concise reports for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a bachelors or masters degree program in information technology, computer science, or related field
  • Expected completion of bachelors or masters degree between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Major GPA of 3.0 or above preferred
  • Knowledge of IT frameworks and standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPPA, and NIST preferred
  • Familiarity with IT auditing principles, methodologies, and tools preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Compensation:

This role offers a competitive hourly rate. Rate ranges for U.S.-based positions are determined by geographic location and fall into one of three pay zones, which reflect the cost of labor in that area. The anticipated ranges for this position are outlined below and are subject to change:

  • Pay Zone 1: $30/hr
  • Pay Zone 2: $27/hr
  • Pay Zone 3: $24/hr

When determining compensation, we consider a variety of factors such as a candidate's professional experience, skills, and qualifications. Please note that final offer amounts may vary from the ranges listed above and may be adjusted over time.
