Summary:

Audit Interns at Sensiba are responsible for supporting the efficient execution of audit engagements, while learning from and collaborating with experienced team members. This role focuses on financial statement audits and assurance services, with responsibilities that include assisting in the evaluation, testing, and documentation of key business processes, internal controls, and financial data. Audit Interns will begin building professional relationships grounded in a foundational understanding of accounting principles and the accounting industry. This role is instrumental in delivering high-quality service while gaining exposure to clients' accounting practices, risk areas, and compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Conduct substantive testing and analytical procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare financial statements, internal controls, and other relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive recommendations.
  • Prepare workpapers and documentation to support audit findings.

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a bachelors or masters degree program in accounting or business/economics with an emphasis/concentration in accounting
  • Expected completion of bachelors or masters degree in accounting between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Preferred accounting GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and growth mindset

Compensation:

This role offers a competitive hourly rate. The anticipated ranges for this position are outlined below and are subject to change:

  • $24/hour - $30/hour

When determining compensation, we consider a variety of factors such as a candidate's professional experience, skills, and qualifications. Please note that final offer amounts may vary from the ranges listed above and may be adjusted over time.
