Placement Type: Temporary Salary: $30 - 35 hr Start Date: 08.31.2025 Design Communications - Graphic/Visual Design This is a long-term full-time hourly position and will be hybrid in Spring. TX. (3 days in office and 2 days remote) The award-winning Design team has an opening for a Design Communications - Visual Designer. We are searching for a talented creative with solid visual and communication skills, a passion for storytelling, and a great imagination for the Unknown. You will conceptualize and develop next generation narratives and visuals as related to computing, gaming, extended reality, and new category creation. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of designers, project managers, and researchers to ensure alignment across our products and portfolio. You will translate design intent and narrative into cohesive, comprehensive, compelling, and clean visual experiences. Responsibilities Understand the client's portfolio, our users, our business, our markets Design visual experiences that effectively demonstrate the client's design language and intent Balance imagery, typography, and interactions in composition Ensure all visual elements are part of the unified brand design experience Generate advanced concepts and ideas that bring ideas to life through imagery and visual representation Manage a workload of multiple programs at different stages of development Able to prioritize projects and always deliver early or on -time Deliverables: Presentation layout and formatting (PPT) Logos for software applications On-product icons/logos Moodboards of conceptual explorations Posters Product Narrative development Social media content Event planning: slide design, posters, large format prints Qualifications Strong work ethic with drive and focus, positive attitude, openness and willingness to learn, passion for innovation and exploration, reliable Excellent visual communication skills Attention to detail in the language and relationships of design elements Strong listening, organizational, and interpersonal skills Good sketching and visualization skills Fluent in 2D drawing software (Illustrator preferred) Very comfortable working in Microsoft as well as Google environments Very comfortable working in Keynote Fluent in Photoreal editing (Photoshop preferred) |
