The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: Under the general supervision of the Administrative Director / manager for Pulmonary and Sleep Services, the Medical Director and/or the Medical Director's designee, a Sleep Center Coordinator/Patient Navigator will be responsible for assistance with day to day operations, general office duties, reporting, sleep scheduling, scoring and CPAP management/education as the department requires. The Patient Navigator roll will identify patients who are at risk for sleep disordered breathing, assessing and educating them with regards to exacerbating their comorbid conditions, and working with the medical staff and physicians to get them scheduled for a sleep study. Qualifications: Required: * Proof of current polysomnographic technologist license in New Jersey OR other license including Polysomnography in the scope of practice (RN, RT, or LPN)* Maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) for the Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association OR Professional Rescuer from the American Red Cross (Other CPR or BCLS courses are NOT acceptable) * Provide a current, signed, ORIGINAL Basic Cardiac Life Support card to the hospital for retention at the corporate office and continually provide new cards as old cards expire Preferred:
