Global Group Reporting System Administrator

Job Summary

This position is responsible for administering Kontoor's global financial consolidation system: Group Reporting (GR) (an SAP product). Kontoor has subsidiaries across the globe and each subsidiary is required to comply with Kontoor's accounting and reporting policies. GR is utilized to achieve complex internal and external reporting which includes the generation of key financial reports utilized by senior leadership and reporting teams (FP&A, investor relations and SEC reporting). The administration of GR includes tasks such as ensuring data integrity, processing all functional/ business changes, communicating with the end users and other administrative finance staff, and ensuring SOX compliance. In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, this position would require the ability to understand the new and complicated business structure of Kontoor, including any merger & acquisition related activities and future integration.

Responsibilities

  • Global system configuration responsibilities - subject matter expert for the maintenance of the GR system including requested changes from global accounting teams; managing testing of changes through collaboration with IT personnel.
  • Lead the use of GR in relation to Kontoor's merger and acquisition activities, including management of two consolidation processes prior to integration, design and testing throughout the implementation phase and expanded GR administrator role post integration.
  • Close collaboration with IT, FP&A for design, set-up, testing and maintenance within KTB's environment as new legal entities are created, new internal reporting structures developed, including understanding of potential future linkage with EDW systems.
  • Global oversight and management of data quality and integration in the GR environment, including direct connectivity with regional accounting & reporting teams to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.
  • Responsibility for certain GR consolidation controls in KTB's internal control SOX framework
  • Lead global GR training with accounting, IT, FP&A personnel
  • Direct interactions with senior finance personnel (Senior Directors and VP's in FP&A, IT, Accounting & Reporting) to address GR related issues and provide requested reporting
  • Oversight for additions and maintenance of KTB's SAP S/4 account structure, working with regional accounting teams.
  • Management of the Senior Analyst - Consolidation in their day to day tasks in executing the consolidation and eliminations processes

Requirements

  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ years in Accounting System Administration

Educational/Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Information Systems (IT)
  • Prior knowledge of SAP Group Reporting is a benefit
