DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the policies and procedures that govern CHIP at a statewide level. Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, analyzing, coordinating, maintaining, and evaluating these polices and operations. You will also be responsible for evaluating and responding to state plan amendments, including those related to disasters. Additionally, you will conduct research and provide responses to legislative inquires, as well as review state legislation for its potential impact on the program. Furthermore, your duties will include participating in the evaluation of eligibility processes and system enhancements. This work involves effectively communicating CHIP policy requirements and the ability to analyze and provide recommendations that impact program implementation. You will play a key role in supporting program planning that ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirement:
- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
Other Requirements:
