We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technicians. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can drive strategic initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure project success from concept to production, with a specific focus on automation and controls. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:
- Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Manage project execution for the engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals, timely completion, and effective problem-solving.
- Oversee complex engineering projects with significant financial impact, including the planning and execution of capital expenditure requests.
- Drive factory automation initiatives by managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems and controls.
- Contribute to new process roadmaps, working with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs and market specifications into production-ready designs.
- Drive process improvements by utilizing structured problem-solving tools such as root cause analysis (RCCM), Gage R&R, and Cpk studies.
- Ensure a strong safety culture by actively promoting the use of safety tools and managing change effectively.
- Maintain and improve the product development process, overseeing testing to ensure a smooth transition from design to production.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or a related engineering discipline; MS or MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years of related engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in an engineering leadership role.
- Proven experience leading complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing automation and controls projects, including the integration of new equipment and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., welding, forming, molding) and new product introduction processes (e.g., FMEA, Lean).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00
