Overview: We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician with an active Secret clearance to provide technical support for end-users in a secure DoD environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Windows systems, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: * Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 desktop support for Windows 7, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office environments. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues, including printers and network connectivity. * Manage and resolve support tickets using Remedy or similar ticketing systems, ensuring compliance with SLAs. * Configure and maintain desktop systems in accordance with DoD security standards and company policies. * Assist with Office 365 support and user account management in Active Directory. * Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve escalated issues. * Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to internal knowledge base. Required Qualifications: * Active Secret Clearance (must be current). * Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level I (e.g., A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security). * Ability to obtain appropriate DoD 8570 IA Computing Environment Certification within 6 months of employment. * Experience supporting Windows 7, Windows 10, and MS Office 2013. * Familiarity with Remedy or similar ticketing systems. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-through skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently on defined tasks and as part of a team. Desired Skills: * Experience maintaining Lexmark, HP, or Ricoh printers (e.g., installing maintenance kits). * Prior USACE/ACE-IT experience. * Experience working in a DoD environment. * Experience supporting Office 365. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
