Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Produce and/or oversee independent financial crimes risk management reporting to Global Compliance & Operational Risk (GC&OR) Senior Leaders and FLU/CF Senior Leaders Identify, aggregate, report, escalate, inspect, and challenge the remediation and thematic analysis of FLU/CF-owned issues and control enhancements related to financial crimes Review and challenge internal and external operational loss events, including the development of remediation plans to strengthen controls and providing oversight to ensure they are addressed appropriately Lead coordination of the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management Ensure accuracy of information; perform validation, quality assurance and timely resolution Escalate anomalies found in data and resulting reports; following up to ensure resolution Seek and identify opportunities to enhance reporting Know the business and understand, anticipate, and drive reporting evolution Requirements: 5+ years' of relevant experience 5+ years' of Tableau Development experience 2+ years' of reporting experience Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Experience using coding, such as Microsoft SQL, Teradata SQL, or Oracle SQL Excellent interpersonal, management, and teamwork skills Understanding of taking data using SQL and other tools to build operational and control reporting with an eye towards automation and efficiency Strong technical and visualization skills, with the ability to understand the business goals, needs, and be committed to delivering recommendations that will guide strategic decisions Deep expertise in Tableau, Oracle, SQL, Excel, automation & optimization, and project management Desired skills: Bachelor's Degree in related field Experience in financial services and/or a related government entity Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) Familiarity with various data platforms such as MS SQL, Oracle SQL, Teradata Proficiency in Data Mining and Data Analysis concepts Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
