Position Summary:

The Senior Rebate Analyst takes more of a lead role to assist leadership with analytical data as needed, including but not limited to the month-end close process, GL account reconciliation & analysis, preparation of various monthly reports ,and provide support for day to day activity. Also, collaborates on strategic projects as necessary.

What you will do:

  • Lead department projects (smaller scale).

  • Preparing and analyzing account reconciliations.

  • At times they will coordinate and oversee the work of an Analyst.

  • Month end reporting.

  • Closely monitors accruals and investigates discrepancies.

  • Review monthly check / credit memo reporting to verify correct processing of agreement/incentives.

  • Quarterly Review and annual audit of key controls for their department

  • Generate reporting for their customers and resolve rebate disputes or inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Annual presentations to internal customers as appropriate

  • Investigates issues and exceptions and resolve with little to no direction based on analysis and ensure timely communication as needed.

  • Back up in Supervisor/Manager's absence.

  • Demonstrate commitment to business ethics and drive integrity, accountability, collaboration, and trust across the company.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

When you will work:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

  • Hybrid Work Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day from home.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related.

  • Ability to process, manipulate, and analyze large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel

  • Must possess the ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple tasks

  • Strong written, verbal, organizational and communication skills

  • Results oriented, has a willingness to take on responsibility to manage multiple and varied projects

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

  • Team player with the ability to work independently

  • Experience with general ledger
