Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly skilled Lead ServiceNow Business Analyst to drive quality assurance and business analysis efforts across ServiceNow implementations in support of our government clients. This role involves gathering and documenting user requirements, developing test plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Lead ServiceNow Business Analyst you will:



  • Analyze current business processes and design future-state workflows leveraging ServiceNow capabilities to enhance efficiency and automation.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable user stories for ServiceNow development teams.
  • Evaluate feasibility and system compatibility for new or modified ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Lead configuration and implementation efforts across ServiceNow modules including CMDB, SACM, and Service Catalog.
  • Apply ITIL best practices to drive process standardization and service excellence.


  • Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans, including timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communications.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives; document and manage user stories in JIRA or similar tools.
  • Conduct performance assessments, identify KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts, including automation, RPA, and AI solutions.


  • Support data modeling, business method development, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Facilitate workshops, user interviews, and stakeholder meetings.


Required Qualifications:



  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Active Secret Government Security Clearance
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with ServiceNow
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Proven experience leading IT operations and cross-functional teams
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and critical thinking skills
  • Proven experience in leading agile teams and facilitating scrum ceremonies.


  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow architecture.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Agile Development Methodology experience, certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) preferred.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, Performance Analytics)
  • Experience with ITIL frameworks and certifications
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar agile project management tools
  • Ability to provide subject matter expertise in Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, and Technical Analysis.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $110k- $140k.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
