Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA, Charlotte, NC and Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide business metric and program analysis, report management, and project support at several different levels
  • Use diverse administrative expertise to oversee various policies, programs, and initiatives, to be able to think strategically, as well as perform in a proactive manner with limited supervision
  • Build and maintain relationships with various partners and work closely with other organizations within the enterprise
  • Support risk and performance measurements as well as collaborate with internal teams to support client selection activities and overseeing business metric and project support at several different levels
  • Understand and represent the needs and requirements of a wide variety of customers
  • Work with an extensive array of internal key stakeholders to ensure activities are completed on time
  • Deliver monthly metrics to include items such as volumes and performance matrix
  • Support product management deliverables during major technology projects



Requirements:

  • Information Technology professional with 10+ years' experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Analyst
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and process mapping tools
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • ITSM experience
  • Strong understanding of business analyst discipline, including new product development, testing and deployment
  • Prior experience in a high-volume production environment
  • Knowledge of unstructured data challenges as well as collaboration, social and productivity product familiarity
  • Email/Outlook experience
  • Exceptional executive presentation skills
  • Excellent at managing multiple tasks, projects and crises at the same time
  • Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills
  • Comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
  • Experience/Knowledge of Enterprise Process Management Policy and Standards, risk management programs and/or the audit process
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders at once, prioritize workflow and deliver results under pressure and time constraints
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize daily tasks with project work as well as ad hoc requests
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to develop and maintain good working relationships
  • Self-starter, motivated and reliable; ability to work independently and seamlessly within a team



Desired skills:

  • Prior experience working on email platform upgrades
  • Experience working in a highly regulated financial institution
  • Technical background



Pay Range: $43.56-$51.56
