Overview
The Cancer Center of Kansas (CCK) is seeking a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse to join our team in our Dodge City, KS office and float to our Liberal, KS office on an as needed basis. The typical work week is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM - Noon with no major holidays, no on-call and no weekends. What does this position entail? Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental and age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs. This role requires collaboration amongst coworkers and other departments, as well as providers. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are:
