Manufacturing Engineer II
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who is concerned with determining and implementing the optimal manufacturing
methods and process for producing company products efficiently.

location, which houses our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device,
Radiofrequency Departments.
Job Summary
- Lead cross functional teams to support RCCA activities on CARs and DMRs.
- Support continuous improvement projects utilizing lean and six sigma tools.
- Design manufacturing processes, work instructions, and shop floor layouts.
- Create and update routing information (cycle times, notes, etc.).
- Support NPI teams with development of manufacturing processes and procedures for new products.
- Estimate labor hours for new and existing products.
- Train production personnel on the proper use and execution of tools, processes, and procedures.
- Design, test, and validate tooling and fixtures.
- Support production operations and personnel on technical issues.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and
suppliers on projects on technical issues as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Working understanding of 6-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Experience leading cross functional teams on projects.
- Professional knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes together with work measurement and work standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- CAD/CAM software experience (Solidworks, Mastercam, etc.).
- Working knowledge at an intermediate level of computer skills in e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or
Related
Engineering Field.
- 3-5 years experience in a production environment, preferably with electromechanical, aerospace, and industrial applications.
