Lead Low Voltage Technician - Nashville, TN TEKsystems is seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician to support the rebuild of our Nashville office and lead installations across voice, data, and fire alarm systems. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering high-quality service and building a strong team culture. You'll be responsible for installing, configuring, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of low voltage systems including: * Fire Alarms * Access Control Systems * CCTV * Nurse Call Systems * Intercom Systems Key Responsibilities * Program, start-up, troubleshoot, and commission new system installations * Perform point-to-point troubleshooting across multiple systems * Communicate clearly with project leads and clients regarding status and challenges * Assist and guide installation teams for successful project execution * Identify and report installation or system issues * Review design documents and contracts for accuracy * Conduct inspections to ensure code compliance * Complete detailed project reports and respond to emergency service calls * Maintain strong written and verbal communication with internal and external clients * Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction * Participate in rotating on-call schedules and work flexible shifts as needed * Maintain regular, in-person attendance during business hours Top Skills * Cat6 Wiring * Cable Installation * Access Control * Fire Alarm Systems * Low Voltage Cabling Additional Qualifications * Strong knowledge of low voltage systems * Technical and computer proficiency * Comfortable using lifts and climbing ladders * Skilled with hand tools and multi-meters * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Effective communicator and team collaborator * Able to follow verbal and written instructions * Experience reporting to a Project Manager Experience Level * Expert Level * Ideal candidates will have extensive hands-on experience and leadership capabilities in low voltage system installations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
