The School of Education at the University of Cincinnati seeks to hire a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Elementary (K-8) Science Education.Primary responsibilities align with standard tenure track appointments including teaching and advising, research and scholarship, and service. The position is campus-based, although there are online teaching opportunities. The person in this position will have the opportunity to take a leadership role in shaping the new Elementary (K-8) licensing program, as part of the state's newly revised licensure structure. Therefore, we seek an applicant who understands and can work across the elementary (K-5) and middle childhood (4-9) grade bands in terms of science content background and age-appropriate pedagogies.
