What you'll do:

As a Preferred and Small Business Banking Training Specialist you'll play a pivotal role in improving employee capabilities and ensuring that Preferred and Small Business Banking employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. You'll support the design and development of comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of Preferred and Small Business Banking. Collaborating closely with the Preferred and Small Business Banking Training Team and subject matter experts, you'll create and facilitate engaging and impactful training materials such as presentations, manuals, web-based training, and instructor-led sessions. Utilizing a variety of instructional techniques, you'll be expected to make learning accessible and effective for all employees, regardless of their learning styles. In addition, you'll evaluate effectiveness of the training programs by employing various assessment tools, such as surveys, quizzes, and performance metrics, to measure the impact of training on employee performance and development. Based on the data collected, you'll make informed recommendations for continuous improvement, ensuring that training programs remain dynamic and responsive to the evolving needs of Preferred and Small Business Banking. You'll foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the bank by promoting available training opportunities and encouraging employees to pursue ongoing education and skill enhancement to help them achieve their career goals. Your efforts will contribute to the overall growth and success of the institution, ensuring that the bank maintains a competitive edge with a well-trained and knowledgeable workforce.
  • Support the design and development of training programs by partnering with the training team to create and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to the specific needs of Preferred and Small Business Banking.
  • Work closely with the training team and subject matter experts to develop engaging training materials for employees of all learning styles. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques.
  • Deliver effective training by utilizing various instructional techniques to make learning accessible for all employees.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and use assessment tools to measure the impact of training on employee performance. Provide informed recommendations for continuous improvement based on data collected. Keep up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure training content remains relevant. Foster a culture of ongoing education and skill enhancement within the bank.

What you'll need:

  • 1+ years of related experience in learning and talent development, public speaking, presentation skills, or similar or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Entry level to intermediate experience in financial services preferred.
  • Entry level to intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge and experience with facilitation techniques.
  • Entry level to intermediate detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Entry level to intermediate analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Entry level to intermediate experience with managing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Entry level to intermediate public speaking experience preferred.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
