Job Summary

The POS & AV Specialist (PAS) will be responsible for overseeing the proper performance and maintenance of all point of sales systems and visual applications within Spectrum Center. The PAS will also act as a liaison between Charlotte Sports & Entertainment (HSE) IT and Levy. The (PAS) will also support during all events at Spectrum Center to ensure all systems are functioning properly as required and technical assistance is provided to team members in a timely fashion

This position will also be responsible for maintaining accountability of all systems in production within their locations, managing the day-to-day setup and projects and will keep up with administrative work such as documentation, time sheets, etc. on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide event-based support and assistance at Spectrum Center
* Understands the technical aspects of the job and demonstrates basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues.
* Setup and testing knowledge on assigned POS and A/V hardware and software.
* Handles equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner
* Escalates location level issues to area or regional IT support team
* Monitors point of sales systems and checks in on staff throughout the event.
* Responsible for updating menus and pricing on POS and Digital Visuals
* Handles visuals, design and updates on all menu digital menu boards
* Manage location system issue logs and reports to management
* Maintain inventory counts of all field-based systems by location within the arena
* Work closely with local and regional IT team to ensure systems are in compliance with company data and safety protocols
* Occasionally support local accounts such as Bank of America Stadium, Truist Field, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and other Levy national accounts.

Qualifications:

* 2+ years of computer technology experience preferred, (Working or Educational)
* Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
* Friendly and enthusiastic personality
* Understanding of basic network infrastructure & terminology
* Resourceful and motivated to learn
* Able to analyze issues and follow escalation plan
* Able to work independently without close supervision
* Understands company processes, follows procedures and completes systems entry and paperwork accurately.
* Able to multi-task and plan ahead in a high-volume environment
* Experience with Quest POS, VenueNext POS, Zippin, and VitalCast is highly desirable
* Accustomed to field work consisting of event based, late hours and weekends
* Experience with PCI compliancy is a plus.
