Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) leverages best practices from commercial industry to provide standardized, innovative, and agile Information Technology (IT) services to the Air Force (AF) as a service. Information Technology (IT) and resources managed across the Air Force providing connect, protect, storage, computing, hardware, software, common IT services, commodities, and hosting for Enterprise mission and business systems. Includes people, processes, and products to plan, prioritize, acquire, operate, and continually improve Enterprise IT capabilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 15 years of experience, 8 years of which must be in DoD
• MUST have an active US Security Clearance
• MUST have Security + certification

JOB RESPONSBILITIES:

• Provide knowledge and experience in technical requirements development, planning, cybersecurity implementations, Information Assurance (IA), system/program protection implementations, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) analysis, spectrum management, standards implementations, information technology (IT) analysis, engineering and technical analysis, test and control functions necessary to assure that the integrated system elements satisfy compatibility and performance requirements (i.e., operational, technical, derived, horizontal, and inherited) established over the life cycle of weapon systems.

• Design secure scalable engineering solutions and provide implementation leadership for the Cybersecurity Program Management Office across multiple program sites.

• Liaison between customers and vendors to define and drive cybersecurity requirements, evaluate technical solutions, perform trade studies, assess implementation impacts, and ensure effective mitigation strategies.

• Analyze and test DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for implementation across mission-critical production environments.

• Investigate impacts of Operational Orders (OPORD) released by USCYBERCOM, JFHQ-DoDIN and present a viable solution to the Air Force

  Implement robust Life Cycle Management practices, embedding security controls throughout the software development life cycle to ensure compliance with DoD security standards.

• Lead the end-to-end management and strategic oversight of Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authorization to Connect (ATC) package submissions for the U.S. Air Force's Endpoint Security Solution (ESS), ensuring full compliance of Trellix (formerly McAfee) cybersecurity products with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls within eMASS.

• Architect and develop next-generation Trellix products to align with USAF cybersecurity and operational requirements.

• Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate evolving threats, mitigate vulnerabilities, and support secure product evolution through continuous risk assessments and design reviews
