This Position reports to:

Global Marketing & Sales Manager
Your Role & Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification OEM Marketing Team in the United States. You will mainly be accountable for:

  • Conducting market research on emerging technologies, competitors, and trends within the electrical industry.

  • Supporting analysis of customer needs and opportunities in key markets such as OEMs, renewable energy, and industrial applications.

  • Assisting in preparing presentations, reports, and marketing materials that translate technical data into customer-friendly insights.

  • Collaborating with engineering and business teams to identify product opportunities and value propositions.

Qualifications for the role:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Technology Management or Engineering.

  • Enjoy working with people and technology.

  • Have established skills or relevant coursework in communication, marketing, and engineering or technology management.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and connect it to market opportunities.

  • Possess an enhanced knowledge or have a special interest in Artificial Intelligence, Podcasting, and Sustainability.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into accessible content.

  • Storytelling: Ability to engage audiences by compellingly framing technical content.

  • Tech savvy: Comfortable using recording tools, editing software, or at least learning basics.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); exposure to market research tools or audio editing software is a bonus.
