THE ROLE: Senior Manager, Financial Operations

The Senior Manager of Financial Operations is a critical role with dual responsibilities. The Manager will support critical financial analyses for A+E Global Media's budgeting, forecasting, long term planning and monthly close processes. These analyses are used to develop financial strategies for A+E Global Media. This role will also help facilitate projects focused on improving and streamlining financial processes and systems across our Finance teams.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Creating and managing budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range plans and analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Management of monthly close analyses including risks and opportunities, temporary vs permanent variances, and quarterly projections for partners with the goal of managing risks and supporting key decision making of senior executives.

  • Analysis of company costs to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities, assist in cost saving measures to optimize financial performance.

  • Assist in the facilitation of projects focused on streamlining and improving financial processes for efficiency including defining project scopes, goals and deliverables that support business objectives.

  • Maintain project governance including tracking milestones, budgets, timelines, and risks across concurrent projects.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ yearsof corporate work experience with a focus on financial planning and analysis and general accounting principles

  • Demonstrated financial & analytical expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates challenges and proposes practical solutions.

  • Demonstrates ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions.

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • ERP/Finance systems expertise with SAP preferred along with ability to optimize workflows.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related is required; CPA or MBA is a plus.

  • Project management skills with ability to oversee multiple concurrent assignments is a plus

Compensation Annual Pay Range: $130,769 - $153,000 Annual Incentive Target: 15.00%

be based ona number of differentfactors such asa candidate's qualifications, skills,
