THE ROLE:

As a key contributor to the success of AMD's product portfolio, you will be part of a high-performance AMD team driving the delivery of high quality, industry-leading technology to the market. The team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to highlight successes and facilitate continuous career development.

THE PERSON:

We are looking for a dynamic, upbeat systems memory ecosystem senior manager to join our growing team passionate about delivering leading-edge technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a hardworking distributed team that works with our system partners in the area of memory support on AMD client and graphics products
  • Lead the team that owns the day-to-day engagement with system memory vendors (both component and module level).
  • Work within a collaborative global team for supporting AMD memory ecosystem partners in the capacity of coordinating / driving validation, test, debug and sample management.
  • Proactively leading project planning, developing, and maintaining schedules, managing dependencies, and ensuring quality of work at committed landmarks
  • Working directly with our customers and ecosystem partners to ensure their memory solutions meet industry best requirements
  • Develops regular status representing the system memory ecosystem
  • Coaches and mentors' staff

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Engineering management and technical leadership experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of engineering fields and management
  • Good understanding of the technologies, capabilities and challenges involved including DDR, LPDDR and GDDR memory technologies
  • Expertise in 3rd party ecosystem vendor management

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline preferred
