Senior Designer Re-Imagine Wellness-Protein

Job Summary

• Lead cross-functional innovation projects from concept to market in plant protein, dairy protein, and high-protein food categories.
• Translate global trends into actionable product development strategies across geographies and disciplines.
• Develop new concepts and recipes for high-protein beverages and yoghurts using advanced ingredient knowledge.
• Foster the use of new materials and technologies from internal and external sources, including academia.
• Collaborate across functions (sales, research, legal, regulatory) to ensure seamless execution.
• Set project priorities and manage timelines to ensure timely delivery.
• Utilize IFF's data systems (SAP, IFFman, Catalyst, GIAS, Salesforce.com) for project tracking and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regional flavor legislation and regulatory standards.
• Build customer networks through trainings, working sessions, and industry events.

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Food Engineering, Food Physics, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience in the food, pharmaceutical, ingredient, or flavor industry; ideally 10 years.
• 5+ years of expertise in dairy and/or dairy analogues.
• 3+ years of experience in cross-functional team roles (leader, participant, manager).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across global teams.

• Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and ability to anticipate market shifts.
• Experienced in mentoring and coaching technical teams.
• Being adaptable and open-minded with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Compensation ($95,000.00 to $136,000.00) is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
