Description

SUMMARY

Hallmark Media is seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Programmatic Sales and Partnerships to lead our programmatic monetization efforts across our various digital video platforms. The position reports directly to the SVP, Ad Sales and Advanced Advertising, and will oversee programmatic strategy, manage key demand and supply-side partnerships, and drive revenue growth through programmatic direct, PMP, and other deal structures. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the programmatic landscape, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven track record of growing digital revenue via programmatic channels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Programmatic Strategy and Execution




  • Develop and lead the programmatic revenue strategy across Hallmark Media's digital portfolio.





  • Define and implement monetization plans in partnership with Ad Operations, Product and Sales teams.





  • Identify and launch new demand and tech partner opportunities to expand revenue potential.




Partnership Management




  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with DSPs, SSPs, agency trading desks and programmatic buyers.





  • Serve as Hallmark Media's key point of contact for all programmatic platform partners and third-party vendors.





  • Evaluate partner performance, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure strong yield results.




Sales Enablement and Collaboration




  • Support and educate internal Sales team on programmatic offerings and capabilities.





  • Partner with Sales management team to develop go-to-market programmatic opportunities.





  • Act as an internal advocate for programmatic innovation and sales strategies.




Analytics and Optimization




  • Partner with Ad Operations team to monitor and analyze programmatic performance, pacing, fill rates, CPMs and other yield metrics.





  • Deliver insights and reports to Sales management team.




Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS




  • 5+ years in digital advertising, with 3 years focused on programmatic sales, partnerships or ad tech strategy.





  • Deep understanding of programmatic platforms including, including SSPs, DSPs and data providers.





  • Strong grasp of CTV monetization and audience-based buying.





  • Proven ability to manage high-value client relationships and drive revenue through programmatic channels.





  • Experience with private marketplaces and programmatic guaranteed.





  • Ability to manage workflow using FreeWheel's ad technology.





OTHER REQUIREMENTS




  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.





  • Comfortable navigating a dynamic and evolving media ecosystem.





The salary range for this job is between$123,000-$168,500. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location.
