Position Summary: As a member of the Office of Population Health (OPH) in the Johns Hopkins Health System, the Lead Clinical Social Worker is the primary interface for patients to access services such as peer/family counseling and support, screening, assessment, brief treatment, consultative services, education and engagement, linkages, outreach and advocacy. Responsible for the delivery of patient centered mental health, substance abuse, and health behavior care to assigned patients in the community as well as designated primary care or acute care sites, working under the supervision of the Senior Program Manager, with oversight of a psychiatrist, and in the context of a team. Additionally, this position will work with physicians, case managers, community health workers, mid-levels, primary care providers, or inpatient medical teams and patients and family members to promote qualitative and efficient use of health care services through the patient's behavioral changes and modifying the care delivery system.
Reporting: Reports to the Office of Population Health (OPH)Behavioral Health Director. The Lead Clinical Social Worker will oversee assigned behavioral health staff and provide supervision of assigned projects as well as the Health Behavioral Specialist (HBS) team in the absence of the Manager of behavioral health. .
Competencies: Education: Master's degree from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or an equivalent organization approved by the Council on Social Work Education. LCPC as well Knowledge:

Required Licensure Certification, etc.: Current Social Work Licensure in State of Maryland- LCSW-C, and must be approved by Licensure Board as Social Work Supervisor, with requirement to maintain license throughout duration of employment. Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
