A Brief Overview

• Follows laboratory policies and procedures to perform high and moderate complexity testing.
• Performs pre-analytical and post-analytical laboratory support functions.
• Demonstrates clear communication with team members to optimize laboratory operations

What You Will Do

• Accurately and efficiently performs pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical processes for laboratory testing
• Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment according to manufacturer's instructions
• Performs and evaluates all required quality control assessments as described in departmental policies and procedures prior to reporting patient results.
• Evaluates results of laboratory tests according to laboratory protocols to ensure quality patient care.
• Documents all laboratory activities according to policies and procedures
• Maintains and demonstrates competency assessment in assigned area
• Takes responsibility for self-development
• Completes all assigned mandatory assignments within allowed timelines
