What's the Short Version?

The Manager, Software Delivery serves as a member of the IT leadership team, providing exceptional leadership and delivery for the technology organization. They lead the teams responsible for Software Development and Quality Assurance, working closely with Application Lifecycle Management, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to deliver projects and systems supporting both internal and external customers.

What Will You Be Doing?



  • Lead and manage eCommerce Software Development teams.
  • Optimize software development processes to match SanMar's goals for growth and delivery of IT projects.
  • Sustain an environment of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for new processes and technology.
  • Integrate delivery capabilities and allocate work across 3rd party development partners and SanMar employees.
  • Maintain strong cross-functional collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Foster a culture of proactive engineering and operational improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
  • Work collaboratively to manage stakeholder expectations and drive the execution of projects.
  • Responsible for the delivery of excellence in quality and service levels.
  • Grow and develop the team, advocating for continuous learning, while moving decisions forward and eliminating roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with business and IT leadership to prioritize tactical issues to address immediate business needs while maintaining strategic direction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.



What Are We Looking For?



  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, IT Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or project management
  • A passion for coaching individuals and developing teams
  • Experience driving results through 3rd party development relationships
  • Working knowledge of software development, life cycle methods and standards for both traditional and agile techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, parallel work efforts; effectively manage competing priorities and mitigate obstacles
  • Ability to manage conflict, troubleshoot software development issues, and resolve problems
  • Technical understanding and experience of delivering projects with key technologies, platforms and integrations (Microsoft developer tools, Azure, JAVA, SQL, SAP Hybris, SAP Cloud, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, great communicator - written and verbal, able to maintain outstanding relationships across the organization
  • Ability to explain highly technical concepts to non-technical individuals, and project objectives to technical individuals



What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $150,000 - $200,000 annually, depending on experience.

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 15% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 152 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.

SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
