About the Job

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Carry out statistical analyses of complex data sets
-Process EEG data for assigned projects to ensure maximal reduction of artifacts but adequate amounts of data for good signal to noise ratios
-Complete analysis of EEG data to yield ERPs and Time Frequency plots that are then quantified and analyzed to address relevant scientific questions
-Assist in the writing and submission of scientific products for publication, conference presentations, and to support grant applications

Qualifications

Required qualifications:
-Masters Degree in Data Science with related experience
-Demonstrated ability and experience to analyze electrophysiological data.
-Demonstrated ability and experience in carrying out statistical analyses of data.
-Strong oral/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to achieve desired goals
-Able to work up to 14 hours per week

Preferred qualifications:
-At least 3 years of related research experience
-Experience or familiarity in areas: customer service, information technology, mental health services
-Excel,Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, File maker Pro andAccess
-Good problem solving skills

About the Department

This position is located in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $15.25 - $35.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
