As an Investment Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in Pacific Life's culture and goals.

The investment division is responsible for designing investment strategies and managing bond portfolios that support our life and annuity products along with our surplus account. Our mission is to provide best-in-class investment management services for all clients and strive to be trusted business partners who deliver top-tier investment results.

What You'll Do:

  • You will collaborate and partner with Public Bond Analysts in the analysis of fixed income investment opportunities for inclusion in the company's General Account

  • Present findings based on research at the end of the internship

  • Gain insight into fixed income investment analysis

  • Gain hands on experience in investment decisions and see the dynamics of portfolio management

Factors for Success

  • Currently enrolled in abachelor's degree programin Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar field

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and presentation skills

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize work

  • Ability to work well with others as a team and independently

  • Some understanding of, or expertise with, fixed income analysis

  • A knowledge or understanding of global capital markets

The base pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour for undergraduates.

Relocation stipend available if residence is outside of 50-mile radius from office location.
