OBGYN Your Role on the Team The position of APP in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, requires a highly competent, independent yet team-oriented individual who will be immersed in the outpatient program of an academic OBGYN practice and training program in a University-based setting. Under the supervision of Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs and guided by the applicable policies and procedures, the APP will participate in the comprehensive care of patients in the ambulatory or inpatient settings and provide multi-disciplinary care coordination, treatment, education, monitoring, and communication with patients and referring physicians. The candidate's scope of service needs to be full breadth, supporting the following subspecialities of Gynecology Oncology, Urogynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM), Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Family Planning. However, the daily practice is expected to be supporting the Urogynecology and Gynecology service line on a regular basis. Candidate is expected to work in both outpatient and inpatient setting. The candidate is expected to function autonomously within a team-based environment in a very busy throughput practice. The candidate will also oversee urgent messages and triage patients with providing added support for covering providers in basket messages when the providers are out.
