Description

The Semel Institute is seeking to hire a limited full time Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative, logistical, and communications support for the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) Academy's training and collaborative learning initiatives.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate planning and execution of program meetings, including internal team meetings, stakeholder and partner virtual meetings, and ad hoc working groups.
  • Facilitate interactive sessions, support learner engagement across synchronous and asynchronous environments, and ensure consistent communication across virtual platforms.
  • Be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and archiving project files and learning content using Box and Microsoft Teams, aligning with federal standards for documentation and knowledge management.
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Prepare, coordinate, maintain and track continuing education support
  • Provide broad support for learner engagement

The NCTSN Academy AAIII will work under the general supervision of the Director for the NCTSN Military and Veteran Families Program, with day-to-day oversight from the Assistant Program Director.

*Please note that this limited position may convert to career.

Pay Range: $30.36 - $43.49

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, health, business, public administration, education, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in communications, health, business, training logistics, or program administration.
  • Proficient in using portable and desktop computers.
  • Proficient in managing collaborative learning platforms and multimedia tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using project management tools and software to support scheduling, tracking, reporting, and task coordination.
  • Basic knowledge and skills in a suite of online software, including Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, Box, Microsoft Teams, and cloud-based learning and communication platforms.
  • Familiarity with academic and U.S. military protocols and professional standards in related environments
  • Ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including U.S. military, academia, and community organizations.
