 As a Manager, Transportation in Dedicated at RXO, you will be responsible for the overall on-site management of a customer account, ensuring that compliance requirements and contractual obligations are met. You will also serve as the primary customer contact on all new initiatives and high-level critical issues.  Maintain responsibility for the overall P&L to meet established budgets and forecastsEnsure the effectiveness of the operation's communication, interaction and relationship with company driversOversee the management of tractor maintenance, compliance and service deliveryTrack operational performance, including route configuration, on-time pickup and delivery, volume, equipment balance and empty milesEnsure driver recruiting and retention meets established fleet size goalsIdentify opportunities to increase performance, improve processes and find efficiencies, and coordinate with leaders to implement solutionsInvestigate and determine the root cause of all service failures; implement corrective actions whenever necessaryDevelop and modify operational policies and procedures to meet customer service requirements on both new and existing processesMaintain a safe work environment and foster a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues and administering corrective action as requiredEnsure annual profit, efficiency and quality goals are attained at each client engagementDirect capital expenditure and asset deployment activitiesCustomer facing role that requires every day interaction with decision makersDepending on site and account specifics, safety sensitive job functions could include:
  
   Must be able to pull tanker with a commercial motor vehicleManually fill up tanker on site at customerTrailer shuttle work when required by customer throughout the dayReview and inspect load securement for both inbound and outbound loadsForklift work at off-site location required when neededTrain new drivers on tanker and forklift equipment What you'll need to excel: At a minimum, you'll need: 
 4 years of transportation experienceIn-depth knowledge of the supply chain/logistics industryAvailability to travel occasionally It'd be great if you also have: 
 Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experienceProject management skills and experienceProven leadership and collaboration skills with experience effectively supervising, mentoring and influencing employeesFleet Management and Maintenance experienceExperience in Transportation Management Systems and Telematics such as OmnitracsUnderstanding DOT rules and regulationsSolid customer relationship management skillsClass A CDL and Tanker Endorsement (as applicable per the specific account) This job requires the ability to:
