Job Title:

2nd Shift Mechanical Engineer Technician

Reporting To:

Supervisor II, Assembly

Work Schedule:

Onsite - Murphy, NC

To be considered for a 2nd Shift Mechanical Engineer Technician role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • HS diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of machining and testing equipment in a manufacturing environment.

  • Technical Degree preferred but not required.

  • Quality conscious, mechanical aptitude, and good dexterity

As a 2nd Shift Mechanical Engineer Technician, you will:

  • Provide technical support in process development and continuous improvement.

  • Work with other departments & outside shops to resolve machining related issues.

  • Help develop PM programs for the department

  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a spare parts system

  • Assist with quality issues

  • Assist with corrective maintenance

  • Train technicians when and where necessary

  • Work on process improvements

  • Cover absences when necessary

  • Other Duties as Assigned

Salary Range Transparency:

Murphy, NC $20.00-$25.00 Hourly

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
