Physician Assistant Waldorf, MD Pay From: $58 per hour MUST: 3+ years of Physician Assistant with experience in Internal Medicine Must be comfortable working independently Must be comfortable working in a fast-pace environment Must have a great attitude and be reliable Must have an active MD License DUTIES: The Physician Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill cardiology patients Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patients age-specific needs Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities Implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting role Assists with the provision of surgical care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations Monitors the effectiveness of interventions Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
