Date Entry Clerk (Temporary)

Job Description

EBAD is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Simsbury, CT and support our fast-growing radiography department. This would be a full-time, temporary position with an expected duration of approximately 6 months.

This individual will support the digitization of legacy nondestructive testing (NDT) records, converting paper-based radiographic data into structured digital formats. The Data Entry Clerk will work closely with radiography staff to ensure accurate data capture, organization, and archival in compliance with aerospace documentation standards.

• Scan and digitize radiographic inspection records (film, paper reports, IQI data).
• Validate and organize digital files using standardized naming conventions.
• Input metadata into digital systems (e.g., part numbers, inspection dates, technician IDs).
• Collaborate with radiography technicians to resolve data inconsistencies.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM E1742 and E2033 standards during conversion.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity throughout the process.

• Experience in NDT or radiographic inspection environments preferred.
• Familiarity with aerospace documentation standards (ASTM E1742, E2033).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency with scanning equipment and document management systems.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
