Starting Rate: $21.95

As aMaterial Handleryou will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

• Your work will involve receiving, packaging, and shipping raw materials/finished goods to the customers and end users.
• You will perform tasks by following detailed process instructions that produce and deliver world class quality aircraft transparencies.
• You will work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place.
• Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Operates gas or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods, etc. May load/unload trucks; may use a Hi-Rise to load items in storage racks.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day
• Ability to operate forklift in a safe and responsible manner, wear seatbelt
• Availability to work evening, overnight shifts and overtime as needed
• Three to five years of previous receiving/shipping experience is preferred
