TITLE: Manager - Vehicle E/E Networking and Diagnostics Testing DUTIES: Deploying systematic validation methodologies to ensure compliance with EE Networking, Diagnostic Specifications, and Process Standards for both current and future vehicle programs. Overseeing component testing for Networking, Diagnostic, and Process Standard protocols across new and legacy vehicle architectures, such as High-Performance Computers (HPC), Zonal Control Units (ZCU), and Body Control Modules (BCM). Leading the development of networking, diagnostic, and process standard requirements to support emerging technologies and architectural advancements, ensuring smooth integration. Working with systems engineering, component release, and project management teams to effectively manage approved and upcoming changes, oversee global harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement of networking, diagnostic, and process standard specifications, promoting consistency and innovation across all regions. Networking: develop and release DBC, LIN, and network operation specifications for all vehicle applications; perform network timing analysis (busload and latency) after each vehicle specification release for all vehicle lines; define networking solutions for various communication protocols, including CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, and LVDS; ensure technical networking communication specifications are released in alignment with vehicle milestones. Diagnostics: release diagnostics files (DDT, CDD, DTC matrix) for all vehicle lines according to specification release milestones; develop and release technical diagnostic protocol specifications based on vehicle milestone deliverables; utilize and manage diagnostic tools and databases for developing, releasing, and testing diagnostic packages, including CANdela Studio, CANoe.Diva, Novus, JIRA, and Diagnostic Workbench. Process Standard: release process standards for ECUs assigned to the team across all vehicle lines in alignment with specification release milestones; conduct process standard reviews with ECU suppliers in coordination with component release teams; define process standard solutions to support manufacturing plants based on vehicle requirements; perform Agile Software Testing on process standard protocols for new and legacy architecture components (HPC, ZCU, BCM). Support and Team Management: provide technical support to manufacturing plants, and suppliers for networking, diagnostics, and process standard-related issues; manage deliverables for both onsite and offshore teams across Networking, Diagnostics, and Process Standards. ** Position requires up to 40% Domestic/International travel**. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical or related and 10 years of experience in job offered or related in automotive electrical systems development. Experience must include: Working with automotive EE systems specifications, system designs, system DFMEAs, and troubleshooting; experience with DSPACE, ETAS, Vector HIL Systems Design, Development, and Implementation; working with programming languages C, C++, Python, and CAPL to develop simulation environment for validation in simulated, mixed, and real time mode; design, development, and validation of in-vehicle communication networks including CAN, LIN, FlexRay; knowledge of DFSS orthogonal array tool for SBT (system behavior test) development; working with System and Validation Requirement Management Tools - IBM DOORS, Rational Model Manager; experience with the implementation of Cyber Security testing methodologies; and experience with Product Plan / STV to develop macros for permutation testing.
