Position Summary

Create, maintain, and oversee a library of reusable design components, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects, and collaborating with internal customers and teammates.


Duties And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

* Evaluate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) library hardware inventory needs. As necessary create, maintain, supersede & obsolete COTS parts and models.
* Assignments will include technical evaluation and support of OTECH's COTS library.
* Able to handle shifting priorities, multiple projects and timeline pressure to meet schedule.
* Must be a self-starter who works both independently and as a part of a team.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD helpful but not necessary.
* Requires appreciation of time and schedule management.
* Proficient writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working collaboratively with customers and teammates.
* Comfortable with communicating in a variety of forums.
* A motivated individual who can work closely with diverse groups of people to resolve issues.
* Additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

REQUIRED

* Web-based data application and data management.
* Time and schedule management required.
* Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
* Candidate will have to perform in an ISO-9000 rated company in a rapidly changing and demanding atmosphere.

DESIRED

* Knowledge of 3D modeling and design standards.
* 1-3 years of experience with SolidWorks advanced modeling knowledge and configuration.
* CSWP Solidworks Certified.
* Knowledge of Solidworks PLM software.
* SharePoint experience.
* SolidWorks Experience (Creo, AutoCAD or equivalent design software).
* Demonstrates knowledge and effective use of the principles, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization and understanding of related engineering fields.


Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.

PAY, BENEFITS AND WORK SCHEDULE:

We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Employee benefits vary by role, however, may include Health and Wellness, Mental Health, Retirement Savings, Life and Disability, Paid Maternity and Parental Leave, Paid Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement, and an Employee Assistance Program. Annualized pay rate for this position is $80,000 to $100,000.
