| Job Summary 
 The Computer Systems Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs on computer systems, hardware, and software. This role involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance, responding to service requests, and ensuring all onsite computer systems and peripheral devices are operational, clean, and properly configured. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively to support system reliability and customer satisfaction.
 
 Job Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Perform technical maintenance and minor repairs on computer systems, hardware, and softwareConduct preventative maintenance tasks, including testing and replacing system batteries as neededRespond to maintenance requests received via email, phone, or service ticket, and provide onsite technical support to customersInstall and configure system devices such as batteries, cables, and external PC speakersClean and verify proper operation of PCs and peripheral devicesMaintain accurate maintenance and testing logs using spreadsheets or other tracking toolsTroubleshoot technical issues with computer systems and related equipmentCollaborate with the Field Service Technician team when escalations are necessaryHandle and lift computer equipment and components as requiredCommunicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure timely issue resolution
 Job Requirements
 
 
 
 Technical degree in computer systems, information technology, or related fieldMinimum of two (2) years of related work experienceProficiency in troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, and softwareExperience using meters and diagnostic tools for troubleshootingFamiliarity with desktop computers, simple networking, and network cablingBasic knowledge of operating systems, including Windows 7 and Windows 10Ability to install and configure system devices and peripheralsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skillsOpenness to learning new technologies and processesAbility to read, speak, and understand English fluentlyCapable of lifting and moving computer equipment as needed
